Youare absolutely right in everything you said! The HAVE to be installed like you REALLY needed them! No air bags in these old "puppies", nothing but a steering wheel or dash (or gear shift lever) to kiss in an accident. You have to be held back to decrease injury. I will be installing them with my Grandchildren in mind.
