I've got my 46 M-5 stripped to the frame, & the other day, I pulled the tank ( at minimum I'll be relocating it ) for my custom build
the tank looks in diecent shape, except I expect mice have been living in it... so at minumum, it'll need a good wash out, & likely a lining for good measure... but it looks pretty small... 12 gallons ( that's guess, by the over all size )??? how many gallons is it supposed to hold ???
are they repopping those, or is there any value in an original tank if I choose to use something bigger, since this will be a custom application any way??? I'll likely mount it in the frame under the box behind the rear axle, to better balance the weight, since the rear springs will be gone ( 4 link & coil overs replacing )
