This morning, at 7:30, I invited the neighbor to ride along to visit tool stores, as I wanted to find a lug wrench and a few other things. The neighbor said this made his day! . We took the '57 on over a 50 mile run, and not an issue whatsoever! The truck purrrred! Ted was definately right when he told me this truck LOVES 45 MPH, and GAS! LOL. Didn't do bad at all though. We got a LOT of thumbs up and honks! Even had a pretty little thing pull up beside us at a stop light, rolled down her window and said "That sure is one pretty truck!". Neighbor cracked up and said this truck must be a "chick magnet"! LOL
We rolled back home around 11 am, with everything we went shopping for. A great morning,
This evening the wife and I may just take the truck to a local car show.
