Some years back, I rebuilt my driveshaft. Annually, I pump grease into all the jillion fittings under there. The center bearing always promptly threw a big stripe of grease onto the bottom of the bed.

Finally, while doing this latest custom build, I pulled apart the carrier bearing and noticed the bearing was sealed. The grease had no way to go but up and out. I should write on the driveshaft "No grease here, dummy!"
