The rebuilt starter on the 245 in my 2R10 has been turning slowly at some times and quickly at others. Now it sometimes refuses to turn at all. Frequently i must press the clutch down on the starter switch several times before the starter will engage.
i am wondering whether this is a problem with the switch or the starter . . . or something else. The service manual does not seem to know this problem.
