He suggested I go to Palo Dueo Canyon before I go any further, he said to just got to Washington which was just over a cple of blocks and to drive down and watch for the signs. I did exactly what he said but the last sign I saw said 16 miles to the canyon and I never saw another sign except for Tulia which is where Washington ran out of road and I had to get onto the highway. So I just kept going and if you guys think ROsweel is bad better think again about this area of Texas it is real tough and dirty. The towns are only there because there are cotton gins operating in them or Peanut factorys but the Peanut towns are actully clean. I got as far as Seminole which is not to bad and Hobbs NM is even better and man does that town cover a lot of area for a small place. Hobbs must run 5 miles out all around and the towns south are okay including Eunice, but Jal is in tough shape. I asked the GPS to take me to Kermit and the first time he took me to a new well drilling rig in the middle of nowhere in the sand dunes. When I got back on 18S a saw a real sign that said Kermit 4 miles and that is where I gassed up, full serve. i stopped next in Barstow and that is one sorry back up town, not a thing happening there but in Pecos it is a whole different story, seems to be a lot better there. Judge Roy Bean hels court there and hug em high. I finally came across some mountains and fell in love with the country in this area of Texas and that is from Pecos to El Paso. Man this is real pretty country and I have only made it to Van Horne. I would say come and visit this area as it is real pretty.
I'm glad to finally get some wifi so I can talk and look up what is going on.
I have ot seen to many studes since I left Bill in Briscoe and Steve Blakes in Amarillo.
