Great car and a great blog on it, too. Seeing the great rods and customs surrounding the Ute brought back memories of all the car mags (big ones and small ones) that I wore out just turning pages as a teenager and young man in the fifties
Dick, I am pleased to have met you in person, and to know you share the love I have for '53 studes. I know the collector that bought the Ute loves them too.
Too bad we can't just keep all the cars we have come it close contact with over the years, but passing them on to those that will appreciate them is satifying, too.
