Skip is right on about those door screws. It literally took me weeks to get all 24 screws out. I used the soak, heat, whack, cool process on each screw starting with the door side first. Once the doors were off it was easier to work in front of the A pillar. I did have to drill out a couple screws. If I were to do it all over again, I'd grind 'em all out and install new. Replacement screws and star washers are available. Keep in mind that my M5 was from dry eastern Washington and the screws were only "very rusted" not "extremely rusted". The photo shows some of the replacement screws.
