Pulled both axles apart today and the Timken brakes and hubs will fit the Dana housing.
1. The Timken backing plates are riveted on. Cutting four large rivets with a cold chisel is serious blacksmith work.
2. Because of the different offsets, when the Timken drums and hubs are on the Dana housing, it increases the tread width 3.25".
This isn't all bad, because the rear tread is 1" narrower than the front. Adding 3.25" will make the rear 2.5" wider than the front. It appears there is enough room under the fenders for the extra width.
