      When I have rebuilt champ 6s , I plug the oil passage to the lifters, never had a problem with low oil pressure. my dad done this years ago on all he rebuilt. the champ 6 is the only engine I know of that has oil to the lifters. everybody else depends on splash. [champ Items] made a kit to plug this passage off years ago .
