for their words of encouragement here on STT and all the emails to encourage me not to leave STT.

Frankly, if one owns a Stude truck, one can not leave STT. STT is THE place for great information, knowledge, and helpful gracious folks. I can't count how many times that the folks here on STT helped me with my problems and issues.

Normally I have a thick skin but at the time I read the post and responded, I was in a place where I reacted uncharacteristically. I apologize for any bad feelings I have caused.

I don't believe I have posted about "every little step you take". As a matter of fact I thought I was holding back, there is a lot of stuff that I have done on the truck that I have never communicated about and see no need to. I usually post for two reasons; to inform folks about what I have done with hopes that others may benefit, and to get feedback on a problem I have. Please not that I am a retired engineer. I therefore question everything I am not familiar with including the advice from the experts... I don't think I have ever run across and expert that had a problem with being questioned.

I posted about the SS screws because I thought there may be some strength issue. When I completely took apart the entire front clip, I reassembled it with SS bolts. Keep in mind that I'm not making a show truck and consider originality case by case.

So, Al, you can stop commenting on my posts if you want, it's no skin off my nose.
