  • Pedal Slop

    • Posted Jan 31, 2012 7:29 PM

My M15A's clutch linkage is quite sloppy making adjustment inadequate. I can replace the shafts and clevis pins but not the pedal levers. What I was thinking of doing is to take the levers to a machine shop and have a bronze sleeve fitted. McMaster-Carr has all kinds of sleeves made of all types of materials that would fit since Studebaker went with standard shaft sizes, in this case 3/4". My clutch lever flops side to side about 2" and I suspect that it contributes to the sloppy linkage.

      Has anyone done this?
