      I am considering the axle on ebay. It is from a 2R10 and the ratio is 4.85. This would be a step up from my 5.83. Here are my questions:

      1. Will this axle fit correctly (spring perches, width...)?
      2. Will my current brake parts, hubs and axles fit?
      3. Will the lower ratio make me down shift for moderate hills?

      I have a M15A with with a 170 and crash box and I can get up the local hills OK. If I start half way up a hill, I can get to 4th but it's 30-35 MPH all the way up. Wish I had a commander...
