Yesterday afternoon my son in law called asking if he could borrow the Stude for a few days to haul some loads of mulch and a pallet of decorative brick to his house, as they wanted to get some yard work done. My son in law grew up on a farm in Ohio (that his Dad still farms), and has been operating trucks/tractors since he was 12 years old, so not a problem trusting him with the truck. Since I got the truck last month, due to this back operation, I haven't been able to drive it (other one time when my wife and I went and fueled it up). It was great to see it heading up the street, going to work! He gave me a call when he got home (about 15 miles away), and told me it was a "blast" driving the Stude! Said he got it up to 50 MPH twice, and also could not believe the stares he got driving it! With the heavy duty springs this thing has on it (primary and auxiliary), I don't think he will have ANY problem with his hauling.
I would have gladly driven the truck, if I could, but know it is in good hands.
