Actually, if I browse ANY of these yards these days, it's ones that are close to me. But these trucks in Stockton - someone alerted the SDC forums as to their being pickable in the Stockton P-N-P. Since I've been hoping to find a pair of useable rear fenders to rehab, I took a chance that that would be the case. While there WAS useable sheet metal on the pair, the rear fenders were too beat for my tastes. So yeah - it was a 340-mile goose chase. I hope more parts get saved off these two. The doors on the green one were right nice - and all the window stuff was there and operable. I just didn't have the luxury of adequate time. And without the personal need for other items (I'd love to know that that OD tranny got saved), I don't plan on going again.
