And so it ends...

Charon was no longer interested in the match up, she stared wildly round trying to find Kizmat, surely it was some kind of mind trick on Mortismere's part? Everything became muffled and moved as though it were in treacle, she was aware of her own breathing and its rhythm that was when she heard over everything else Mortismere's evil laugh. She closed her eye's and concentrated hard on Kizmat, trying to connect to him but it seemed as though he no longer existed.

She became hyper aware of her breathing and the rhythm of her heart and the blood rushing through it. She breathed in hard and thats when it happened without even meaning to do it. Mortismere was watching as it happened and at first he grinned as the darkness swirled around her, she was finally accepting the Unholy Darkness but then he realised something didn't feel right.

Charon opened her eyes and they were a pure white, she knew if she looked where she wanted to see Kizmat that he would be there because that's what she most wished for, it was the thing the most deeply etched in her heart of hearts. When she looked Kizmat popped into existence and she could hear him again.

She then looked at Mortismere and he got his first look at what it truly looked like to be in control of the Holy Darkness and then all hell broke loose.....
