Oversaturation of PA

by Anon100000 (no login)

There are now areas saturated with PAs. Several of my PA buddies are having a hard time trying to find a decent job. Of course, the areas where PAs are beginning to saturate are in the major cities. I think the best way to go is to go for the Masters in Nursing and specialize in Nurse Anesthetist. There is a huge demand for Nurse Anesthetist. Think Surgery Centers. Their starting salaries are in the 40-60s on the average. My neighbor is grossing over 130,000 and she only works 7 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday with No Call schedule. Lastly, there aren't enough MDs going into Anesthesia to fill the void for Anesthesiologists. Thus, Nurse Anesthetist will be in more demand.
