Its calling DO students "medical students" or "osteopathic students" doesn't change one thing about who we are, our qualifications, our responsibilies, or the expectations our patients have of us. If anyone can point out one thing that anyone expects us to do that is different as students or soon-to-be physicians when compared to the allopathic profession, then I will stand corrected. When a DO perfoms a prostate exam, doesn't he do it the same way as any MD would and is he not legally expected to diagnose BPH or cancer? When a DO surgeon perfoms the nissen fundiplication, does he do it the same way as any MD surgeon would and is he not legally expected to generate similar results? Therefore, I'm sorry that Princeton Review makes you feel not like a "medical" student.
