Temple call 504-621-1670.by R Wilner, DPM (no login)I read Mark's comments with interest. I urge the Temple Alumni Association to call me at 504-621-1670. My point is very simple: There are very easy ways of making Podiatry better for the young podiatrist. One can make sure that the PTs and RNs do not change their Practice Act in your state such that they are able to do sharp dissection, orthotics, Wound Care, Diabetic foot care, ingrown nails, and podiatry. Pods spend 4 years + a residency to do Podiatry, so why do we allow these lesser trained folks to get the Laws changed to do this work? These are issues that I have discussed and they fall on deaf ears. This profession is non activist. My next observation would be, "Where were you when you heard of Brian Gale www.BrianGale.com and what did you do to voice your outrage? Do you want an ethical profession, or perhaps you see no need for it. from IP address 67.24.14.223 Goto Forum Home |
