Just because I quoted a portion of Harrison's doesn't mean you now know what you need to know. Go read it. You might learn something. Your previous CURRENT description is far out of date, and it can have an impact on your patients. I am glad to see that you are sticking up for PAs, NPs, and whoever else, and I support them as well. Every field has good practitioners and poor practitioners. You ought to strive to be one of the better ones (whatever your field). Reading and keeping up to date will make a huge difference. If you want to make statements, and try to correct people you ought to make sure you are right to begin with or you come across looking like an idiot. DPMs do see a large number of diabetics, so it is in our interest to keep up as well as anyone else. As far as your later comments, I don't think you come across very well. You might do well to take criticism a little better. I don't think I was condescending or made derogatory comments. I simply brought forward accurate information and offered references.
