Arizonaby (no login)Dear Dr. Arizona is a very difficult state for podiatrists. Phoenix metro area is very saturated plus AZ is probably the most heavily HMO'ed state in US. I worked as an active duty podiatrist in the US Air Force at Luke Air Force Base on the west side of phoenix for 3 1/2 yrs. I made some contacts w/ local pods as well as looked into starting my own office. You would think that w/ all the geriatric patients and growth increses in the population there would be a large opportunity.
