Which am I going to believe, a survey with a sample size of 2,955 practicing podiatrists young and old OR a half dozen Doom and Gloomers??????

As for the insurance panel issues, a few pages back I asked one of the posters here if he initially had trouble getting on panels in a large metro area, and his response was that a few turned him down at first, but he eventially got on. He is now netting over $200,000 a year, only 3 yrs. after residency. Obviously, he is on the far right side of the bell curve, but I have met way too many young podiatrists making well into 6 figures to buy into the Doom and Gloomer "you'll never get on an insurance panel" smack. Sorry.
