By doing so, you may detect a victim of the #1 killer in this country. Should dentists do the same? In my opinion a clear yes. Trust me that if something untoward happens to a pt that you have injected a medication into, it will probably raise your BP as you try to explain your failure to do so to a jury. Even an average personal injury attorney knows that you are taught to do so in school. Aren't both podiatrists and dentists taught about coronary artery disease.
