To prospective students: You are taking a lot of risk but go for it if you have the heart of a gambler. Don't get married until you are well established. Too many of us became divorced due to the stresses of school, residency, starting a practice etc. Do not enter this profession if you are looking for a job. This profession will pay employee-doctors very little.
Go into some other field. Only the owner-doctors are successful.

To students already enrolled: Spend as much time learning the business side of this profession as you do the academic side. God be with you.
