Disgust

For the last two years I have infrequently perused this forum, hoping to see some sort of professionalism and genuine care for the profession of podiatric medicine. What I have found is exactly the opposite. But... it seems that the only people who post here are disgruntled, unsuccessful or just downright angry. Am I wrong to say this? When I first applied to pod med school, I was told "Podiatrists eat their young". This forum is a good example of just that.
However, I have experienced just the opposite in my meager two years of school. I see very successful practioners who have surgical privelages at large med centers with booming private practices to boot (in NorCAL--which is also saturated with DPMs). This is what I expect to fall into when I get out into the "real world of podiatry" five years from now. I am especially irrated with those who post for the shear reason of decreasing their competition. Are you kidding me? Hey 3rd year out, maybe if you spent more time practicing, you wouldnt have so much time to waste on this awful forum.
This was my 1st, last and only post on this forum. I will formally request that it be taken off my schools webpage, and finally, I will never recommend that anyone interested in podiatric medicine come here for info.
