Barefoot footwear

by (no login)

Hello,

My name is Tim Brennan and I am the designer of a new footwear brand called, "VIVO barefoot", which is due for launch in 10 countries in February. I’m hoping that my invention will have a revolutionary improvement in foot health across the western world.

I believe that my shoes will be of great service to various health practitioners and I am trying to reach as many podiatrists as possible. I would be very grateful for any publications that would be worth contacting, forums, etc.

The shoes work because they have a puncture resistant Kevlar sole that is highly flexible and just 5mm thick. VIVO shoes are aimed at solving acquired foot and postural disorders that are commonly caused by thick, inflexible and heavy soles found on regular shoes.

Briefly, the medical advantages of wearing my shoes are:

• Increased Flexibility Can Reduce Fatigue and Strains of the Foot and Strengthens the Arch
• Width at the Ball of the Foot Permits Spreading of the Metatarsal Heads and Does Not Squash the Toes
• VIVO barefoot’s Zero-Heel Allows Natural Posture
• Tactile Feedback to the Feet is Likely to Prevent Overloading Injuries
• Lateral Stability of Ankle is Increased due to Thin Sole
• 35% Less Weight Improves Energy Economy
• Flat foot-bed Maintains the Metatarsal Arch
• Increased Foot Tread Surface Area Rebalances Foot, Reducing Excessive Strain

I look forward to your responses

Tim Brennan
