Sorry but your cynicism isn't the answer. I was never trained to exploit or malign my fellow Podiatrists. The fact that there are certain unscrupulous individuals out there is only a reflection of our entire culture at large and not podiatry in particular. Just pick up a paper and you will find all sorts of "professionals" in trouble with the law for their behavior. That includes MD's, DO's, JD's and PHD's. Work hard, don't expect any great rewards from others. A high paying job is not an entitlement, even if you went to school for many years. Some folks spend their entire lives training for the Olympics only to fall just before the finish line. It is how you recover from that "fall" that truly determines your worth. Your DPM degree is only as good as you are.
