quick responseby Rob (no login)Just a quick response. I dont mind negative comments about podiatry...I know its not all roses. But if you are going to put down the profession just say the negatives, dont make stuff up. There are instances when your loans will be forgiven. Its rare, but it can happen. Also, rates are not sky high. Im locked in at 1.65%. That is the lowest loan I have (auto, mortgage, credit card). So the cost to finance the education is a risk. But not an outrageous one. I will just close by saying I disagree with what you say. I have too much experience with successful podiatrists to believe that its as bad as you say. Maybe things are on the way back up (in general, definately not with insurance reimbursements!) because all the graduating residents I know this year got great offers. I hope this helps balance things out...Podiatry isnt perfect, nothing is. But its the right job for me and I enjoy it and do well. Rob from IP address 68.112.219.115 Goto Forum Home |
