Cuckoo[s] in the nest.........

November 2 2003 at 12:15 PM
Steelstack.

Beware you freeze fans of a certain type of creature commonly known as "ex aces players", while at first this may seem a blessing in disguise given your own teams ability, you could find that, they, like the bird in the title could in fact be a bit of a nightmare, you take them in believing them to be of the same species, but they come to you with what seems the same plumage and colour but underneath they are dyed in the wool aces and recognise no other parent than that which yields the cry of " COME ON YOU IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICES" in that funny mancunnion way they do, so, be warned, their nest has been destroyed and more and more will end up at your roost and please remember, you have only so many sheep to go round !!!

Sorry, Watergirl - have to disagree.

Its been a long time since Steelstack graced us with his wit and wisdom - perhaps even before Scimitars' stunning playoffs last season.

Anyway, as a point of information, I am reliably informed that there are just under 3 million people living in Wales and around 5 million sheep. So as bigamy is against the law, you still have 2 million to pick from for yourself, Steelstack, should you fancy a pre Christmas trip across the border.

...and didn't the Scimitars lose to a much weaker Freeze side?

Ah yes Mark....

But the question is of course not so much what you enjoyed but HOW you enjoyed it that I want to know, did you find the mint sauce in any way abrasive, and what about the trimmings, not netminder kit by any chance, if so was that on the lamb or ewe....
