just hope some of them dont take it too heart and they can all have a drink in the bar together afterwards. Mind you I expect if any have old scores to settle as things were not always as rosey as they may have seemed it could be fun too watch !!!
Well at least we will have the next new ice rink in the Manchester Area soon outside Altrincham Station for all the lads to come back for a reunion game maybe
Yes hopefully we will have a Altrincham team playing out of there but to get all the old players back from the last season would probably be part of a reunion game.
you just think you know everything dont you Mark!!!!! how wrong are you? Light hearted Banter my arse I am sick to death of seeing one or other of the richardsons and Mau get slagged off on the blackburn site suggest you go back to the blackburn site last season and the season before and before that etc and review your comments. stop trying to be everyones friend . Let me know which games you are going to watch next season and I will come and introduce myself to you and you will see just why I get mad about it but you have met me already! and if you were such an avid aces fan you would know that Russ and Arran are not twins at all there is a year and a day between them look at the TEAM on this site for a clue!!!!! Sorry to be a bit hard on you but sometimes you do talk a load of drivel !!!!
I dont belive I know everything but if I have a viewpoint I post it under my own name just because you agree with some one does not make it like you trying to be everyones friend
Maybe if you learnt the difference between banter and slagging people off then you would not post the drivel you have.
Yes Kapt Mau have been slagged off in the past but they have also given as good as they get but if you knew Tangerine Chick you would realise she was friends with Rusty and the Kapt. If you read what was posted I had a light hearted go at the poster over turtles in the same vain it was originally posted.
As for trying to be everyones friend then you obviously dont know me as I have upset my fair few people Yet you posted you do know me then you will realise that I am a season ticket holder at Telford and can be found at all there home games apart from the Milton Keynes game on thew 23 when I will be watching the Bulldogs v Roadrunners.
The point about the Richardsons being twins we still have the press release stuck up in the priority service locker from the Manchester Evening News under caption seeing double where it stated the Richardson Twins had signed for Altrincham.
Maybe Mr Guest it is time to read what is posted not what you thought was posted.
Mark get real will you I was not talking about that particular posting I was talking about all those in the past I am going to email you now so you know who I am I have been reading your postings for a long time now and am entitled to my opinion and just because the papers say that they were twins does not mean they are it also so they moved to Hull when in fact they drove there 3 r 4 times a week for over 4 years I have also read some of the tangerines past postings as well so dont imply I dont know what banter is !!!!
Oh I know the Aces used to b**ch at one another at times, but at least when they were on the same team they had to -try- and get along! Not sure I like them having an excuse to belt one another somehow. ;0)
Local-born forward Dave Ritchie has been handed a place on the Excel Laminating Hull Stingrays roster this season after impressing during a trial.
The 19-year-old, who has iced for Kingston Predators and Kingston Jets in recent seasons, was one of a handful of players who attended a try-out camp as coach Rick Strachan looked to fill his one remaining place on the roster.
Ritchie, along with former Manchester Phoenix forward Jason Hewitt, were invited down to training on Tuesday and Thursday, when Strachan made his decision.
"We had six guys who came looking for a job and we cut it down to these two," Strachan revealed. "Hewitt had the experience of playing for Manchester last season but Ritchie was keen and enthusiastic and we feel he will do a good job for us."
"Ritchie will dress every game, but he knows he has to work hard and improve on a few things if he is to get more ice time. He knows the situation and is eager to take the chance." Strachan also confirmed Hewitt could still have a part to play for the Stingrays this season.
Looks like Jason may be a Hawk for the time being.....time will tell....
