Here's one for the older members of the Aces fraternity....many years ago it was my sad task as Manager of the team to suggest to one of the more senior players...Graham Horlock...that it was perhaps time that he hung up his skates and gave his body a rest, he's forgiven me now. Before he did finish playing he and his son Simon (now resident in Australia) played together on the same team (for the only time ever) against what he recalls as either a Swedish or possibly Finnish touring team, he seems to think this would have been at the end of either season 85/86 or 86/87.
He (and Simon) would be eternally grateful if anyone could produce any photographs taken of them on this historic occasion, if you could help I'd be delighted to hear from you.
All the best to everyone for the New Year and lets hope we get somewhere to watch a game sooner rather than later.
