Look, Why is it that no matter what is acheived there are always some who look for the negatives. The town will have a rink again, it will have hockey and that is all anyone who visits should be interested in.

Anon - we don't need a kid to coach the Aces (or whatever), we need someone more experienced. Perhaps time for Stokesie to make a comeback .......

Sid - everyone I know is delighted that there's going to be a new rink. You might be forgetting though that being a fan is different from a player. Not so easy to switch teams - countless Alty players might have been happy to play in Blackburn but way more difficult for a fan. A bit like expecting a United fan to be able to switch to supporting City. Not surprising then that there might be a few out there who can't do it and might be negative about the likely new set up even if they've no real chance of changing things.
