Well what did everyone expect the prices to be it is obviously the rink is catering to the faithful with bottomless pits for pockets.

I for one will not be returning to Altrincham at these prices as it is well out of my price range.

What is needed is a Premier Division team in competition chargeing family friendly prices.

Would be very suprised to see the house full lights comeing on very often as they were only averageing around 2200 at teh arenha and gaurenteed a seat or is there reductions for standing

well it looks like the place is already full.........

RA: The Season Ticket and Gate Ticket prices have now been published. Have there been many takers so far?

NM: We have now taken orders for just over 200 season tickets. We have gained permission from the league to sell up to 1000, as we believe that this is the only way we will be able to look after all the loyal fans that have supported us over the previous years. We anticipate allocating 500 for our commercial sponsors, VIP’S, club representatives and guests. Already we have three clubs asking for 500 tickets for their supporters when we first meet in the new season that may only leave 300 hundred seats and 200 standing available for general sale.

Looks like I wont be finding any reason to go the rink then unless there's any open ice time for training. However, judging by the prices it may be a bit expensive to go to any open training sessions that may or may not occur. Wonder how many students or OAP's can afford the £9 every week as opposed to the £4 that was payed when it first opened. Aren't concessions usually the same price as children's tickets?

Why, all students, both Professional and Amateur. Guess you could class semi-professional ones in there as well. However, professional students actually get paid more than certain so called proffesional ice hockey players did playing for a certain team a couple of years ago.

This is your fault for starting it, Russ ! Now we're on to semi-amateurs and part timers too. Mind you, some people will think all students are part timers anyway!

And it is know under 5s and not just the under 2s who are getting in for free.

Also Rick there is nought wrong with us part time students especially if we can get in for 9 pounds a seat

As long as you have an NUS card Mark then you will get in for student price. Sometimes some places just accept a college card as long as the dates are valid on it. However, my experience is mainly limited to nightclubs and student unions or bars in Fallowfield.

I have to laugh at some of the comments being made on the Phoenix site from some of their so-called faithful. They're getting what they (thought they) wanted and now it's too expensive they don't want to know.

And as for the complaints about cliques and intimidation...oh the irony.

I wouldnt mind but I was only stimulating some positive debate.
Slagged off by some welsh bloke going on about how much money he's got and us poor people staying away from his/their forum.
And now the bloke that runs the forum wont let anyone post a reply.
Never mind the welsh bloke thinks I'm baft anyway.(He says with a smile)
