Don't forget the thought that if you've already built a temporary rink that can be permanent - why waste money pulling it down (or moving it) and building a new one? |

which makes me wonder will we ever get this temporary rink or will the backers pull out at last minute due to delays |

Did not the planning conditions for the temp rink say it had to come down within 5 years? |

They probably say something like that but councils have been known to change planning requirements ......
Building a new rink costs the overall developers more money, Mike Petrouis more money - its only Neil Morris and Phoenix who might want a bigger arena (and they, of course, might not get the crowds to make them need it). | |
