New U19s coach is inspired by Stuart PearceApril 1 2007 at 1:19 AM | Rick |
| New face behind the bench tonight as the U19s won 4-1 in nottingham.
Our man said " I've gained a lot of confidence from City's latest successful manager, Stuart Pearce (they did win today too !!). I'm not the type though to shout at my players like some other coaches...... A quiet word does the trick plus a prawn sandwich and a cup of tea in the interval whilst humming 'Blue Moon' to keep the lads on an even keel."
Good to see you again Greg and hope you keep your winning record going if you get let behind the bench again.

City managers always seem to start well but quickly drop off.
So normal service will resume tonight and the vocal encouragement will return.

LOL
I see the U16s benefitted from your words of wisdom yesterday.

Great games by both the 14s and 16s on Saturday at Alty.
I saw all of the 16s game and really enjoyed it.
Took a new face and they will probably come back for more of the same.
Well played.
P.S. Greg was always the quiet one and Nipper is Nipper.. |

Oops ?
Seeing as the return game on Sunday ended Manchester 1 Nottingham 1, is this proof that the City technique works better ? |

3 games...3 wins Rick, what more can I say, not even Pearce can match that!
Talking of stats, Wayne Rooney is now on 41 games without a goal for England and United in Europe, now thats a World Class Striker eh!!! (Bet he scores a hat-trick tomorrow now)!! | |
