Does anybody know if the new team has been picked and who made it through the trials?
I'd like to know who we'll be watching next season!
Will we be seeing some of the old Aces back as it says on this sight some of them have retired temporarily? eg Nick,Houghie,Billy,Si Mills and company?
Miss read original posting as who individuals will be watching as opposed to who will make the team up.
Don’t feel that a lot of the retired players will come back as it is a Manchester Phoenix team and the ed1 is looking to become a development league more than ever these days with the scrapping of under 19s and as such feel it will not become a old boys reunion. Which on one hand will be a shame as these players and the team they played for will be missed?
Yet believe the team that will be picked will be one for the future and aforementioned players will be left in retirement and lost to the game
So do we have any information regarding the costing of the ED1 team next season, who's running it all, because it's something we are all going to need to know pretty soon to weigh up the options of if we can afford to play at Manchester or if it's cheaper to travel somewhere where we don't have to pay. I'm not being a tight a**e but i can't afford to pay too much a month, as well as other people who have mortgages to pay and young families to raise. It would be nice to know as soon as possible.
I'd try hard (ice time permitting) to get a home challenge match against the Hawks on the August Bank Holiday weekend - perhaps even home and away that weekend. I'm sure that would get quite a few in and help prevent the likes of Russ needing to find a proper job
Just to let everyoe who is trialling that the monthly costa have been reduced to £49 due to the fact that a new sponsor has come on board. Registration cost still £88
Suppose we have to get in the real world and that the new place needs to be paid for. Weighing up the petrol money to travel to further afar rinks not to mention travelling time, looks like Alty ain't that bad.
Not forgetting we get coached and bo****ked by the Legendary Red Nose Paul 'Nipper' Bayliss, things are moving the right way!
