Members of the ENL squad as usual.

Having put up one warning already about Anon posts about this, this thread will not be hijacked in that direction (if that's where you're trying to take it).

Hi Rick

I agree about anons but you sound a little paranoid about questions to do with players.

Chill out man.

Chill ? Paranoid ? You should have seen the first reply !!!

You have to put up with how I run this board - if you don't like it then ....... but seeing as how it's worked fine for us for 5 or more years and people recognise the latitude usually given, stick with it and see.

Player numbers is a red herring. Whatever squad taken there would almost certainly have lost to what is usually a well organised outfit that's very good on the PP. The same goes for the likely result at Whitley on Sunday.

That said there are a few games coming up where there's every chance of the lads getting a win under the belts to start them off.

2 Things

October 29 2007, 9:14 PM

The game against Nottingham even though the scoreline suggests otherwise it was proabaly are best effort to date.

Spare players at Deeside etc., are exactly that spare players who play or sshine do so at no cost to themselves where as the players at Altrincham pay their own registration fees plus £49 per month to cover some of the costs, additional costs are picked up by the Phoenix senior organisation and benefactors.

So if there is anyone out there who wants to sponsor a play please feel free to do so.

Seems Jamie's goal for the Lions was well appreciated, any more details?

Jamies Goal

Seems it was his parents 40th wedding anniversary and Jamie wanted to get them a goal so he just sent a decent slap shot from about 10 feet out on his own net. Parents celebrated.

He hadn't told us, but he told is girlfriend that he wanted to score a goal to remember.

Didn't let us down, did he?

The thing is that if he'd hit it at the other end it'd have probably hit the keeper.
