Has nobody told them that the ENL team don't have the basic equipment to do any kind of shot at all!! Apart from Jester and his shot of sambuca!

Danny Binns BEAT an elite league player to claim the fastest skater competition, and the sad thing is that people on the forum are making excuses for their precious player saying he must have been tired, he got beat deal with it!!! he's a proffesional athlete (import) so he should be able to beat an amature athlete (english) haha love it good effort binnsy

I'm pretty disappointed that there is hardly anybody on the Phoenix site offering congratulations to the ENL team and particularly Danny, apart from people who seem to be associated with the ENL team directly. The Elite fans should really be taking an interest in the lower tiers, they could be the guys they are supporting in a few years time. They'll be happy to follow them if the amateur guys help out the Elite when they in desperate need, but don't even take the time out to learn the name of at least the one player who beat one of the Elite players in a competition. Is it just me or does that actually sound quite bad on the behalf of the Elite fans who post on the website. The development teams are the future of hockey at Manchester (Hopefully) so people should really have a bit more respect and pay a bit more attention to them. Rant over
