I've been searching for information on my father, 1st Lt. Crawford Marvin Brown (deceased in 1972), a bombardier, who served with the 38th Bomber Group and 405 Bomb Squadron. He may also have been transferred to another squadron and/or group. I know he flew B-25s and B-24s. He was in the Southwest Pacific from the spring of 1943 until the fall of 1944.
I have been in contact with many wonderful, helpful men who served in the same squadron at roughly the same time, but I haven't yet found anyone who knew him personally. I'm still hoping to find someone. If you can help, please respond here or to my email address.
I look forward to the discussions here of the 38th. Thanks for setting up the board.
Laura Goodman

Laura, If you have not already done so, I would suggest you try to reach Harry E. "Terry" Terrell Jr., also from the 405th. I know he is in possession of many pictures of 405th air crews, etc. Maybe he can be of help in locating some men who served with your father.
I believe he can be reached at the following e-mail address: heterrell@fea.net
His home address is: 20475 Upper Bay Dr.
Newport Beach, CA 92660-0741
I wish you all the best in trying to find out more about your father. Please stay in touch.
Very Sincerely, Mark J. Collom

Laura,
Harry "Terry" Terrell is an excellent person to get in touch with. I USUALLY do NOT allow e-mail addresses of bomb group members to be displayed unless they are asked first, but I know Mr. Terrell won't mind in this case as I'm sure that Mr. Collom knows this.
Mr. Terrell is recovering from some health issues and I'm sure he'll get to you as soon as possible if you e-mail him.
He's also my favorite B-25 Pilot and great friend!
Sincerely,
Chris Guest
