Can anyone supply me with any information on any of the following members of the 71st (Wolf Pack) Communications Section: John M.("Chuck") Jordan (New York City); Christopher A. Musso (Independence, LA); Nathan Kirshenberg (Brooklyn, NY); and Stephen S. Stavroff (Philadelphia, PA).
Herb Witcher (my brother-in-law)served with these men from 1943-45 and would appreciate any information anyone may have concerning them.

I returned from the 38th BG 2004 reunion in St. Louis last night. The best news is that the Association will not be disbanding. We have scheduled our next reunion to be held in Phoenix in 2006, probably in mid-October.
I posted your request at the reunion but received no responses. Someone may yet respond to me.
At the reunion, I was made aware of a large file of information about the 38th that will become available to me in the near future. When I receive that CD, I will search for further information for you and get in touch.
I would appreciate receiving an e-mail from you so that I may contact you more directly.
I will be the new editor for our Association news letter. We may be able to make this available to you electronically. When we get that set up, I will let you know if you have contacted me by e-mail.

Drop me an e-mail and I will fill you in on how to become a member of the 38th BG Association.
My first issue of our newsletter, "THE SUN SETTERS" will be out in two or three weeks. It appears that Larry Hickey will never get the history of our group published (which he has been promising us almost every year since 1990). We are starting a long series that will put all the stories that have appeared in previous issues into chronological order. These will cover a four-month period of our history being published 63 years later. In the end, our readers will have a history of our group as told through various stories which our families can read to get a picture of what our life back then was like. We expect to be able to supplement this with pictures that various members have contributed and which are being digitized to eventually be issued on a group of CDs. We will also work new contributions from our members into this schedule.
While this is not, by far, what we had hoped to leave to our children and other family members, it will be something they will have to understand that period in our country's history and to help understand what Grandpa did way back in WW II.
Hoping to hear more from you,
David Gunn
