Chris:
I have tried on several occasions to email you and it seems that I get it back ("permanent failure" "suspend"). I have 67 photos of the 38th bomb group/822nd squadron for you as promised. I have them on a cd but I can't seem to contact you through email. I need your mailing address so if you wish, contact me at harborgirl46@comcast.net and give me your mailing address. I have other information for you and will relay it to you once you email me.
Hope to hear from you soon.

I've been researching a book about Carole Landis, a 1930s-1940s actress who died in the late 1940s. I came across a photo you apparently have of her during a visit to the 38th during her 1944 trip to the South Pacific with Jack Benny. She spent most of the war making visits like these (she was in England a year before the USO actually made their first trip) and those chapters are a big part of the book. I was wondering (1) if you had any stories of the visit and (2) if you have any photos that I might be able to use in the book. I personal photos are much more "real" than a studio shot, and I've collected a number of great personal photos of her with the airmen. Any assistance you could offer is greatly appreciated. I can be reached at flemingiv@aol.com. Thanks again.
Best,
E.J. Fleming
