I am trying to locate any information about my father, Barney Johnson, who was a B-25 Pilot with the 38th Bomb Group from August, 1942 through December 1943. He was with the:
405th Squadron from August 1942 through January 1943,
71st Squadron from February 1943 through June 1943,
823rd Squadrom from July 1943 through August 1943,
and back to the 71st Squadron from September 1943 through December 1943.

I am also trying to find out what the Mission Symbol's were in column 3 of the Form 5's. Specifically what does 0-1, U-5, 0-5, T-5, C-4, 0-4, U-1, C, T, A, stand for?

Wayne,

I posted a message to you on another line of this site. But, my e-mail crashed a few days ago and I lost my address list and my messages. Please send me your e-mail address and Post Office address again so I can keep in touch with you and send you a copy of our news letter with your request in it.
