I am trying to find info and photos of the planes that my uncle J.C. O'Donnell flew with the 38th. One plane was named after my mother "MIMSIE". It had a painting of St. Patric holding a pair of handguns. He also flew the "HAIRY MONSTER" a few times.

Dear Ed,

I flew with the 405th Bomb Squadron of the 38th BG from July 1944 to April 1945. I did not know your Uncle.

I am the editor of the 38th BG Association news letter and will post your request in the forthcoming issue. If you will send me and e-mail address and a Post Office address, I will send you a copy of the news letter.

We take special pleasure in trying to help people such as yourself learn more about what their loved ones were doing in those long ago years.
