My last set of photos was from a stock piece that I got from the deal back in august. Got three stock pieces. The first one you saw and that was with modifications and changes in lighting, different styles, etc over a three month period. These photos are the secon piece I just cut in last weekend. I have taken some pictures of it setting on myhead with no adhesive first of it NOT cut in at all...the second couple are of the first phase of cutting and then the final barrage of pics are the final and what I took today (I think a couple may have been taken over the past week)...the sides are my own hair and there does need to be some minor thinning and blending I need to do, but I do it as a process...all was done with a pair of hair cutting shears(scissors), a little wahl comb n cut to get some bulk down once I got it short, and thinning shears to healp with texture and layering...all done with piece on my head a mirror and a hand held mirror...no robo was harmed in the making of these pics....
Specs the same for all...1b, 10X8 I cut to fit, freestyle, NO graduation, all SFS, 75% dens front and 70 throughout....

Just because I put them up DOES NOT make them public domain. I have connections in the law enforcement industry and I will file suit against this person. Jake you are to be admired and most of all respected on this site....very few people show their hair on this site let alone their full face....you are one of the few that have inspired me to do this on my own....your pics always look great and these show the cutting stages to a newbie....a picture is worth a thousand words and they do just that....this forum is about educating in the art of hair wearing...so that we dont get ripped off by big companies...and you my friend contribute greatly...so please dont listen to others that criticise...you look great and have the ultimate hair...may you continue to inspire....many thanks steve
Jake, I know you're a high and tight kinda guy and you look great with short. I was wearing my hair short like yours until the last couple units in which I went a little longer like your pics above and I really like the change of pace, also the longer hair looks really good on you.
I thought about leaving it longer, but what my gf likes she gets <shrug>, but again, ever since the military I just have not been able to wear longer hair, its too much. Plus short is just more plausible for me and I like the short clean cut type of look, just what I am most comfortable with.
Just making a case for longer hair. Seems to me most girls like it, in my experience lately. Guess if you were single you'd go long. How's Tx treating you? Myself, been offline for a few months, moved to NC. Only thing I miss about Michigan is being able to go to Ba's place to check out some units.
However, one thing I don't understand... You say density is 75/70%? My 68% unit looked thicker than that the first few weeks.
And my 75-72% lace unit was way thicker.. Sure that is actually 75% density?

Yea, that looks like 65% to me. Even when wet you can't make 70% plus show that much scalp. Not that it's that much, but it's gotta be thinned out or below 70%.
Anyway, Jake, the pics look good. And, I actually think the 2nd pic of the long hair looks good. I don't like long hair either though.
I know what Mike is getting at and I agree it would look better if you Spiked those hairs up at the front as well Jake, But on the other hand I dont think it screams obvious wig, As real hair does look wiggy at times, See photo below :
Mike 82, I personally know that pictures and real life of my own wig can vary greatly. Yeah you know its a wig, and so do i, but guess what, were on a wig site. The average person he meets wont have a bleedin clue. My opinion.

The wig pics look good. IMO the longer hair makes you look younger and suits you better.
Regarding your pics, unfortunately once you put s/t on the net it is like a present you cannot take it back. I would not even bother with the effort to try and track anyone it makes them happy and the IP addresses can be be spoofed, too. Let it go and let the wanker wank off w/his or her pictures. I, for one will keep posting any pic I like full face or not. If s/o needs my pic for fun, then they are really in sad shape.
I also think Mike is being a bit over the top on the one pic as a wig, even after pointing it out it did not scream wig to me.
One thing is and seems to happen with ALL sfs pieces I get they are overbleached and have an orange tint to them, you dont see it in real life so much, but the camera can pull it out, plus I use different flash effects for different pictures, so they may look a tad off...but in no way wiggy in any respect AT ALL...
It is 70-75 density, it is very wet thus giving it a lesser density look, trust me on that one as that is all I ever order, I think the process if thinning it to take out the bulk has made it a little less, but the density as receivedd IS 70-75....like the first one is soaking wet so looks thinner.
Another thing to add...is that the front is spiked up pretty good, its the angle of the shot that makes it look like its sticking out in front, but if you look at any real hair you will see there are shading and effects around the front of their hair....
SO I think these are the best looking and cut I have had since wearing in all honesty...and remember people arent looking down at my hair like those shots, usually straight on...so the stray hairs is part of the style...
I think these pics are the best Ive posted...and you are entitled to your opinion, but based on real life people in person telling me and my eye for these things...I would tend to disagree with the couple of you that thinks it looks wiggy...BA said it perfectly, real hair can look wiggy....but these are far from it IMO...

Trust me, I know all of those things, but also believe me when I say I can track them...when you have friends in government, FBI, etc...you can track them...
In fact, since we are on topic here, I wish I could come to the chicago conv as a very close friend and his wife live there, both agents in the FBI and would love the chance to see them...
looks nice jake. camara'a tell lies alot. no one ever states this???? but with 1b no hightlights. its much harder to show a nice hairline vrs. blond hair or 1b with lots of hightlights. its night and day to me.

I dont think jakes hair looks like a wig. We just know what to look for. The average joe on the street wouldnt think wig at all. Our brains are just accustomed to looking at certain patterns that might scream out wig to us. But I doubt anyone else would notice. i think overall the hair looks nice. I liked the blending you did on the sides too.

I think ur just making whoever did it laugh more by your extreme reactions. My friend put my pic online and made me into a fake porno star lol. After dry it will be a problem.maybe to thick ,wiggy look and no swing.There's a big diference beetwen dry/wet.My stylist always try to do some fashion cut in on my hair (he knows I don't like short hair).I always say him:_ men its perfect ,wonderfull but when it dries it will look like a wig !
I think its possible to use a little long , but it demans a lot of maintenance . Am I wrong ???

If you look at my first ones they are soaking wet, the second ones are shorter but drier and you can tell the thickness. It is a mess of entangling and does not look real, at least for knotted pieces, ILACE and skin pieces I wouldnt think so, but havent tried to confirm...when I got up after a night of wearing it long its just all over the place and poofy and doesnt look real imo....that is why many wear longer styles, but they also have little tricks that doe require more maintenance like wearing silk bandanas or doo rags to bed, or sleeping on silk pillows and such
