My first ST30 attachment went very well - this stuff holds nearly as good as ultrahold, and without the clean up mess:)

This is how I removed:
-peel the piece off the head
-spray 99% alcohol onto the top of the piece to melt the "bonded" side of the st30
- peel the st30 tape off the piece

Problem: lots of hair came off the underside of the base along with the st30

Is there a better way to remove st30? I'm using #64 and SFS lace, so it's a little delicate.

ST30 rocks Speed up my attachment loads. But I don't use it for hairlin yet, as there is no need. i-glue or basebond do the trick and they are easy clean up, and easy on the skin.

Colin, use the lace release while the piece is still on your head. Just lift the hair up and spray it where the tape is. Wait a few minutes and then the piece will easily lift up and the tape will stay on your head. There should not be any hairs
getting pulled out doing it like this. I use the PURE to remove the tape from my scalp. Hope this helps.

I agree with Rod except I use 99% Alcohol. You need to wait a few minutes after spraying it on the top of the unit to allow it to soak in. Most of the tape should remain on your scalp using this method.

Hey Colin...these guys are right...I use st30 on perimeter but not on the front hairline...I use 91% alcohol and I have had not problem...the tape stays on my noggin and if any tape does stick to the unit...I squirt some more alcohol and it easily comes off and no hairs with it...I think the trick here is to saturate the tape and wait for the alcohol to work. Well I use non-residue tape and hair gets attached to it at front. When I peel it off with my right hand I use the thumb of my left hand between hair attched to tape and gently pull towards front of piece. Most of the hair comes free that way
