Thanks to all who posted about ST30 and how to do it.
After a few hundred times reading I finally got it on attaching ST30 and it does look good at the front (with a little Basebond help). For me, the key was putting it on a mannequin head and stretching it there and then applying to the noggin.
The ST30 is a pain in the arse with its stretching, but once stretched and molded to the wig it results in a good-looking frontal attachment w/o the glue tackiness. I wasted quite a bit of the tape, because it takes multiple attempts (for me) to get it right. What I miss w/the tape I fill in w/Basebond. I just had a five day attachment (for me a new world record) and could have gone longer I am sure. I changed, because I think a wig on the noggin for more than a week has got to be nasty.
Thanks again to all who posted on ST30. It took me 10-20 tries at it, but eventually even the blind squirrel finds the acorn.
Sometimes when I see some questions posted on here, I think to myself, Mate just work it out for yourself it aint difficult.
Me personally if something aint working I try different things to see if I can work it out, Thats probaly the best advice going.
The stretching is hard for me because of my hairline. It has some sharp turns you have to make with tape and my head feels like i have a rubber band attached to it when i use the stretching technique. What i would do now is draw the line on my forehead with a make up pencil flip up the unit. tape 1/8th or so inches above the line and then paint on a little bit of cream glue beneath the tape then attach the unit
Im glad you finally got it sorted Maxx! Gratz. Hopefully, you will soon develop a nice program and it will work perfect for you. Sometimes, unless do to alignment or something trivial, its like mine own hair, but like you, over a week, ten days mostly tops I have to change to, I just like that fresh attach.
