My hairpiece hair looks shinier than my real hair

For some reason my hairpiece hair looks shinier than my real hair. It is slightly darker than my real hair and I believe the hairs are slightly thicker as well. Any suggestions on how to best deal with this problem?

Thanks

Just wash it. That fixes everything but the darkness. Bleach will fix the darkness. Just make sure not to make it too strong, not to use it to long, and make sure to rinse it good. Think before you act, so you don't get wash through.

I have a similar problem, My hair is kind of dull, and the piece hair is shinier even after a whole year, still shinier. What you can do is, Get a product like a conditioning cream. light gel, wax works, even castor oil or something similar. Just put the oil etc. A THIN coat, on your side and back hair, this should increase the shine of your own hair to match the piece

That's actually normal.  Has happened to me before but since I started ordering a specific color (ASH 7) I don't get any of that shinnyness.

Use gel on your realy hair until the peice fades some.
