I need some quick help!

So I use st30 tape all around. Tonight is my first attachment and when I hit light.. you can see the st30 tape "glitter". This is a dead giveaway and looks real bad. I've seen people talk about this before but I don't know how to get rid of it when it's on my head. There's also a distinct line where the tape is on my hairline.

A reattachment is absolutely not in my cards right now. What do I do?! Thanks guys. everyone is always extremely helpful

Try to blot the tape firmly through the lace with a damp sponge or damp lint-free cloth, that should dull any shine. Or press it firmly with your fingertip. The key is firm; pressure should kill the smooth surface of the tape. That at least worked for me with the non-residue tape, it's a Michigan Baldy tip.

tap it with a clean finger and it will dull any shine. you need to spread out those tape edges if you can see them. to do so, heat with a blowdryer and smooth out with your finger. it requires a bit of pressure but is well worth it.
