Are any tapes as thin as Scotch tape?

I like the ST30 except for it being so super thick. Are there any tapes that are thinner, preferably paper thin, like Scotch tape?

And it has low residue, too. Otherwise I'd just stay with glue. Though ST30 hold is nice.

3mil lace tape is the thinnest. SOme find it troublesome to apply and cleanup. I used to use it for years with my partial. I got the hang of it after awhile. But it def is frustrating at first. Something that def needs a little practice to handle. clean up can be easy once u learn how to pull off the tape in whole chunks

They're all about that thin---- and I would say that the rolls of ST30 I have here are even thinner. I can't imagine what you've got there or what you're talking about in regard to the thickness of ST30 tape.

I agree with NY. Are you sure you have ST tape?? Are you taking the backing off the tape??? ST seems fairly thin to me..

st-30 is 7 mil thick just like all the other tapes except for the 3 mil tape which is....well.......3 mil thick.
I'm not sure why this poster thinks the st-30 is so much thicker than other tapes. its 7 mil like all the others and can be stretched to a very thin layer.

I have a roll of ST30 tape. I can easily count how many wraps there are, just looking from side view. And my eyes are not that good. Scotch tape is much thinner.

Ok, this is getting absurd.
HAVE YOU ACTUALLY APPLIED IT, THE TAPE ?
Sure the BACKING (paper) is THICK, but that has NOTHING to do with how thick the tape is and, as I and others have told you, you STRETCH it when you apply it, which makes it thinner yet.

the tape is SANDWICHED between TWO pieces of paper which would make it appear much thicker than it is. I assure you, it is 7 mil thickness...just like 99.9% of all the hair replacement tapes on the market.

I did, just now. The edge was noticeable to the touch, but smoother than I expected. The adhesive sealer did not get rid of stickiness. I used a bare piece of lace.

I just read that the 3 mil tape is actually glue, which I assume has the same clean up as glue.

Are skin bases thinner or thicker than tape?

Mathcat I think wearing has caused more problems for you than gains...it seems like everyday I come on here you post some new bizzare problem you are encountering.

In one of his other posts mathcat was talking about going to a full cap.

Remember his posts as "grafted" about his partial? If he goes to a full cap, Heaven help us! LOL

It's OK mathcat, we'll still be here for you.

st30 sticks to the backing stronger than it sticks to my forehead. Even if I press hard, I can't get the backing off, unless I mangle the tape.

Erica;
if you have purchase several "big rolls" of st-30, then you are not using st-30. I am the only one that sells it and it only comes in a small roll.
where did you purchase your tape?

also, you keep referring to t-30 tape and you say its brown. this is not the tape people are speaking of on this thread. the tape people are speaking of is st-30 tape and what you have is not st-30. st-30 is neither brown nor does it come on a large roll. I would guess someone is selling something different with a curiously similar name.
