Now my sister says my piece is totally obvious

even though I'm getting better at blending.

She saw me before the piece, and after, and said I look a lot better with the piece. But now that she forgot what I used to look like, she says she does not like the piece, and that I looked fine before. She says she can totally tell it is a wig, but that might be because she knows it is one. Women treat me better when I wear, so I'm staying with that.

I think I know why your toppers look so much more realistic than my frontal does. Your top is all the same style, and just drapes over your robo cutted sides. Since my piece is just for the front, it's style and color have to match the back so very precisely. So it is much harder for me to get a perfect match. I'll work on it some more, but I'm tempted to go full cap, or 3/4 cap.

I don't want to go back to my previous hair. I got shot down for being old too many times that way.

it's b/c she already knows and she's prob. (most likely)inspecting it all the time. my wife does the same thing. she's constantly stating things like, "i can see a tiny piece of your lace here, you have 3 hairs standing strait up there, she'll stand there and stare for like 2 minutes strait, no one in the real world would do this. and i've pretty much fooled everyone. my best friend who sees me all the time knew i did something to my hair and i told him i had a transplant done. he's now always making comments about how good the transplant worked and says all the time that when the time comes he wants to go to the same "transplant" Dr that i had (he's starting to receed). this gives me a great laugh, but when it's his time, i'll hook him up with toplace. man i stare at my piece in the mirror under bright lights and i still can't believe how natural it looks. i have good and bad days, but honestly, unless you have a very bad cut or the density and color are completely off, you won't have anything to worry about. get that sorted and you'll be good to go. remember, styling products are your friend. wax, gel, mouse, etc.. with product in your hair almost all slight imperfections will be gone. works for me anyway.. good luck and keep on pursuing

The first time she saw it she said that she could not tell. Now I'm blending it better, and she says it is obvious. I do know it has gotten lighter. That could be it. I also put my back up piece on my forehead, and it felt much less detectable that the one I've been wearing. I rarely shampoo it. I think the bleach messed it up. I'll attempt to dye it, and condition it. But I think I'm on to the back up soon. This time I'll put the backup on the roof to sun bleach it to my natural color.

You could give ADF a try, it's great for adding depth to the color and the conditioner works well too.
